Ever wanted to be mates with Ginger Meggs? Now’s your chance!
To celebrate 100 years of Australia’s favourite red-headed larrikin, any Australian who purchases a Ginger Meggs coin could be in the running to cameo as a character in an upcoming Ginger Meggs comic strip!
How to enter:
1. Purchase a Ginger Meggs coin from either the Royal Australian Mint, Authorised Distributor or Australia Post (keep your receipt, you’ll need this later)
2. Post three words that you’d use to describe yourself in the comments of the competition post on our Facebook page
The five best entries will have a photo of themselves turned into an illustration by Ginger Meggs Artist, Jason Chatfield. The best of these illustrations, as decided by a public vote, will get a cameo as Ginger Meggs’s new mate. This is an incredible opportunity to become a part of Ginger Meggs history, and who wouldn’t want to be mates with Ginger?
What could you win?
Minor Prize - Five shortlisted entries will receive a framed copy of their illustration
Major Prize - The winning illustrated character will cameo in an upcoming Ginger Meggs comic strip
